Help us shape the future of outbound
We're building a new category of outbound sales. Will you help us build it?
About Saleshunt
At Saleshunt, we're building the AI-native go-to-market companion for outbound sales. Until now, sales teams had to choose between static contact databases and complex workflow builders with steep learning curves. We're the natural-language alternative: describe who you want to reach, and within minutes you've got verified contacts, the right signals to act on, and personalised outreach ready to go.
Saleshunt grew out of Waimakers in 2024 after we kept seeing the same problem in real customer work. We've since proven the product with early users and started generating revenue. We're funded by Waimakers rather than outside investors, so we build with conviction, not external timelines. Now we're scaling beyond first customers, and the person in this role will have a real hand in shaping how.
Two things make working here different. You're building an AI product that's pushing what's possible in AI and sales. And you're working in an AI-native way yourself: every team member, including non-engineers, has their own AI agents. We're a team of 6 based in Amsterdam, sharing our environment with the broader Waimakers team (20+ AI builders and consultants), which gives us startup speed with the energy and learning of a much larger group.
We're looking for a Founding Growth Manager to help Saleshunt grow — from the inside out. You'll spend a lot of your time with users: onboarding them, understanding what clicks, and turning those insights into better product and sharper go-to-market. You'll also help define how Saleshunt shows up in market — which channels, what messaging, how we position. This is a role for someone who genuinely enjoys being close to users and wants to build the systems, strategy, and playbooks around it. If you're 2–5 years into your career and want to build something from scratch at an early-stage AI company — this is your role.
Location & work mode
This role is based in Amsterdam. We genuinely enjoy working together in person, and the office is an important part of how we collaborate, learn, and build. We see 3 days in the office as a healthy baseline for this role, with many of us choosing to spend more time there.
What you'll do
Be the product expert and guide users to their first real outcomes
Run strong demos and onboarding sessions. Help prospects and users understand where Saleshunt creates value, and get them to successful first outcomes.
Dig into root causes, not just surface feedback
Run customer interviews and turn conversations into clear insight. When users say "this doesn't work," you figure out why: is it a UX problem, a missing mental model, or a data issue? You produce product improvement recommendations, not request lists.
Build the systems that free you up for what matters
Own customer-facing documentation, internal playbooks, and self-serve guides. Every repeated question becomes either a product fix or a self-serve answer. The goal: spend your time on high-value conversations, not answering the same thing twice.
Partner with power users to test and roll out new features
When we ship something new, you work with power users to test, refine, and roll out before broader release. You also run the bigger customer projects and pilots where hands-on product guidance makes the difference. Everything you learn feeds back into the product.
Feed user insights into product-led growth
You bring what you know about users — what trips them up, what clicks, what makes them stick — into how the product grows. Together with the Head of Product, you help make Saleshunt easier to adopt and something users love coming back to.
Drive our go-to-market strategy and execution
You'll own how Saleshunt shows up in market — which channels, what messaging, how we position. Working with the Head of Product on overall strategy, you turn what resonates in user conversations into positioning and campaigns that actually land.
What we're looking for
2–5 years of professional experience, with a genuine interest in users and a desire to build
What matters isn't the exact title you've held — it's that you enjoy being close to users, you're curious about what makes them tick, and you want to turn that into something. You're not looking to just operate a playbook; you want to help write it.
Startup experience and comfort with ambiguity
You're comfortable in a fast-moving environment where priorities shift and systems are still being built.
Strong product sense
You know how to listen beyond the literal request, understand the underlying problem, and turn customer input into something useful for the team.
Experience working closely with product and engineering teams
You can structure feedback well, collaborate effectively with technical teammates, and help turn customer input into clearer product direction. You think about root causes, not symptoms.
Interest in go-to-market — positioning, messaging, channels
You don't need to have run a GTM motion before, but you're drawn to the question of how a product finds its market. You want to be involved in shaping how Saleshunt is positioned, not just how it's used.
Excellent verbal and written communication
You're comfortable leading customer conversations, running strong demos, and writing concise, structured updates.
Tech-savvy, with genuine curiosity about AI-native ways of working
Everyone on the team, including non-engineers, works with AI agents daily and has their own OpenClaw instance. Experience with tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex is a plus, but not a requirement. What matters: you're tech-savvy, eager to learn, and not intimidated by this way of working.
Professionally fluent in Dutch and English
You'll work with Dutch-speaking customers and an English-first internal team, so both your spoken and written communication should be strong.
What we offer
Small team, real stakes. Here's what comes with it:
- Competitive salary and equity participation
- 5 weeks paid vacation plus public holidays
- One month per year working remotely from anywhere in the world
- Team lunch on Mondays and good coffee all week
- Regular team events and offsites
- Real ownership and impact from day one in a six-person team
- Your own OpenClaw instance and AI tools as part of how you work daily. Few places let you both build an AI product and work in an AI-native way.
- A front-row seat to product-led growth at an early-stage AI company. You'll help shape how the product grows, not just support it.
